We are incredibly fortunate to have the rugged Organ Mountains watching over the Mesilla Valley. Known in Spanish as La Sierra de los Órganos and in Mescalero-Chiricahua Apache as Tsé daadeezhá-yá, the range is famous for its granite peaks and the towering Needles on the north end, home to Organ Needle at 8,982 feet. Their sharp, vertical formations have made them one of the most recognizable landscapes in New Mexico and a backdrop that never gets old. Whether at sunrise, golden hour, or under storm clouds, the Organ Mountains can make any Jeep photo stand out.
